28 June 2007
5:45 in the morning Freja woke us by walking around in the house whining. 7:30 AM she gave birth to the first puppy. Two hours later came the second. With 1,5 - 3 hours in between three more puppies was born. Four females and one male.
Time went and we thought it was over. Freja slept and everything was calm. By 7:30
PM Matti went out running and I (Stina) went out to feed the other dogs. We came in and everything was still calm, and we ate dinner with Matti's sister and her boyfriend. After dinner me and Jenny went to check out Freja and to our big surprise there was now six puppies in the box. Another female had arrived after more then 4 hours after the fifth puppy.
All the six puppies looks healthy and Freja is taking good care of them.

We are going to keep four puppies. Two females are booked by our neighbours Jasmin and Volker Husman who now will have six dogs in their kennel.

Working Husky Freja
S52293/2002
dob: 2000-06-05
s: Fun Run Björn
d: Working Husky Nadja

Freja is a fast, lightly built female that works fine as a leader. Our best leader Nadja is the mother of Freja and in many ways she reminds a lot of Nadja. She is a gentle and shy dog, but when she gets to know you she will give you a lot of love.
Freja has been on;

Polardistans -05
2nd place open class 320km.
Nordic Open -05 1st
place open class 2x52km.
Tobacco Trail -07 3rd place 8 dog class 2x77km.

Working Husky Stalo
S20925/97
dob: 1996-12-11
s: Keb
d: Minki

Stalo is now an old gentleman but has always been a faithful strong and good team dog. He is nicely built and has a good coat. Stalo is born and has lived his entire life at our kennel. His brothers and sisters have been an equal and good working litter. Stalo has never been in a race and that’s because Matti never raced during Stalo’s “golden years”.

Future puppy plans
As soon as Working husky Cissi comes in to heat we will breed her with Fugitive's Freddy Kruger. This is our last chance to get puppies after Cissi. She ran as a leader in the Finnmarkslöpet 500 in 2006 with six of her children in an eight dog team.
Kruger has
impressed us big since we got him from Jenki Lindgren at Fugitive's Kennel and we have big hopes for this combination.
